If he was sincere and he started the project but couldn't continue, people would have supported the project. But he and his group of wicked pastors collected monies from individuals and groups in Ghana and abroad but chopped the monies. They also came to take Ghanaians 58 million dollars without informing Ghanaians earlier. As we speak, they have not built even a single room on the land. They chopped the money. 1. Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo made it clear to Ghanaians in his campaign promises, that if God helped him to win the December 2016 general election he will build a cathedral for him (God), so it was a personal promise to be fulfilled to God, and so he had to fund the project with his own finance.
But if he would have needed an assistance in financing the project, then he (Akuffo Addo) supposed to appeal to all Ghanaian citizens to support him by contribution towards the project, because that was not a national priority, but he didn't asked Ghanaians for permission to use the state money to fund his promised to God project, and it was not the Ghanaian citizens who promised to God that they will build a cathedral for him when Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo wins the 2016 general election

2. The amount spent on the project, 58 million cedis with nothing to show, just a foundation pit, which became the most biggest swimming pool in Ghana, and also the corrupt people who were supervising the project especially the so called Pastor Kwabena Adu Gyamfi ( the double name) are the people who made Ghanaian citizens (mostly Christians) spoke against the National Cathedral

How was the construction of the national cathedral going to benefit Christians? What difference would it have brought about in the lives of Christians that Christians do not have right now?
