  Africa politicians will never cease to amaze their citizens, when are we going to sing our own song and get done away with old fashioned ? What do we have in common and what wealth in place to share with these people who created all these organisations which one of is commonwealth? All these are the things they use to bring us down. Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger has done away with all these Trojan horses. Ghanaian politicians need to be honest to themselves and call spade a spade. We don’t need a foreign government institutions or if you like a foreign NGO’s or a colonial tool for anything in Ghana. For far too long what have we benefited from these people apart from dying hard to chase them in their various countries for a horrible jobs and abuse from them? When are we going accept that the solutions to our problems are within and not outside? Since 16th century we came connected with these people, what can we boast of apart from abuse, subjugation, pillaging and enslavement ? Ghanaian politicians should wise up and stop the butt licking!

  That said, what is the significant of the "Commonwealth" to the average Ghanaian on the street? History has it that the British ruled us for over 200 years and what did they left behind? As long as we have weaned ourselves off the clutches of the British, it is time we "bit the bullet" and tell ourselves that we "Can do it" to shame those who wish to sit on our necks.
  
  We are behaving as if we were created just to follow some other humans on the planet because we can't think deep enough.
