The Portuguese and the Dutch who first arrived on our shores between 1471 and 1595 respectively were the ones who initiated the whole concept of the Trans Atlantic Trade, yet we do not blame them for that. The British came later, infact, for the short period in which they took over from the Dutch, from 1872 to 1957, the actually gave us schools, hospitals, railways etc. Now,even when they realised that slavery was wrong and abolished it between 1807 and 1835, our own useless Ashsnti Kings were unhappy with that abolition.Prempeh, was still at it as late as 1896 hence his capture to the Seychelles Islands, yet, as fools , we still worsnip Prempeh, whose idea of human development was excessive human sacrifice to his useless River gods annually such as River Tano, Antoa, Asuoydboa etc . Which colonial powers are these empty headed journalists from Ghanaweb or the plonker at the castle talking about?what about the role of our useless Kings who sold the slaves in the first place?
