When the die is cast, no amount of prayers or witchcraft can prevent the crossing of the Rubicon. Fellow Ghanaians way before 7th December that the NPP must go and there was no way they would have survived. Six policemen stopped me around September 2024 near Nkawkaw while driving to Tamale. Initially I thought they were stopping me for overtaking, as I had just overtaken a vehicle at top speed. Lo and behold, they told all four of us in the pick up truck to vote for the NDC and that they will never take any instruction from Dampare to cause mayhem and that even if Auntie Rebecca is made IGP or EC chairperson, the NDC was going to win the election. The writing was simply on the wall. Similar stories abound.
