  Mahama is Putin’s boy and this is part of Putin’s his grand agenda in Africa. He tried to make some overtures to Nana Addo, but was ignored, hence the intransigence and the flexing of muscles by those coupists in the Sahel. Anyway what is happening now is for their own good, so they don’t live in isolation to the detriment of their people.

  For me it's the right thing to have good neighbourliness so Mahama is justified. Good neighbourliness should never be abandoned however difficult the situation. Aligning with people far off against your neighbour should be a no no. For instance if Ukraine had not listened to NATO and western Europe against its then peaceful neighbour, Russia, there never would have been war.
