  Why would any wise person switch an IGP who was always swift in his actions against bad behavior. The Ghana Police was the worst in the subregion until Dampare happened. All of a sudden, we were surprised that the Police could change.
  
  This gave me hope that with the right people in the right positions, we can finally change the status quo erat and do some refinement to the country. It's not matter of 4/5 years.
  The armed robbery police within the rank and file of the larger police administration stopped in their tracks and formed Dampare-hating secret force. Why people failed to see is understandable. People can't fool about.
  
  Ghanaians don't know what they want!

  The only problem with you Dr Dampare is that you proved to be non partisan and didn't allow NPP to steal. You wouldn't have been elected if this behavior had been seen earlier. Also being the owner of a prominent chartered accounting firm, you had very little use for bribes so you couldn't condone with the usually corrupt police establishment who were not happy with your strict style. Indeed, you're the best IGP since the day of Mr Kugblenu. Don't mind the negative nation plunderers.

  The only problem with you Dr Dampare is that you proved to be non partisan and didn't allow NPP to steal. You wouldn't have been elected if this behavior had been seen earlier. Also being the owner of a prominent chartered accounting firm, you had very little use for bribes so you couldn't condone with the usually corrupt police establishment who were not happy with your strict style. Indeed, you're the best IGP since the day of Mr Kugblenu. Don't mind the negative nation plunderers. You should have arrested Paul Adom Okyere though.

  COP Christian Yohuno should be critical of the jubilation that followed his appointment - a video showing police officers 'spraying money' - eh! COP Dampare, a mortal being, has his weaknesses.
  
  Did anyone expect officers of the Ghana Police Service to be happy with any IGP who wanted to bring discipline into the Service? If COP Dampare attempted that and wanted to be loved by majority of the officers then he was naive - very naive.
  
  For many years Ghanaians considered the Ghana Police as corrupt institution but when COP Dampare became the IGP the general feeling was that the Police service became a bit disciplined; and the officers were not happy. We all use the road - "stop here", "park here", "bring your license", "where is your fire extinguisher", "OK what do you want to tell me", etc. significantly reduced during COP Dampare's era.
  
  Dampare has been sacked and the officers are spraying money probably because money is gonna come brutal! Hahaha - Ghana!
  
  I have never met COP Dampare in person, not even within 100 metres within his vicinity - what for anyway - but I think I like him. We hear he is not what the public know of him - well why are they saying that now? Give a dog a bad name and hang it?
  
  Well, the roads were considerably safer, "stop here, park here, bring your license" and all those nansin stopped - and the average Ghanaian was happy.
  
  COP Yohuno, please continue from there with the money spraying officers! Just open your eyes wide.
  
  I think COPs spraying money at the Police Head Quarters is very embarrassing!

  This is the whole problem people have with Dampare. That he was elevated above older or more senior officers. That's all.
