Decentralization perfect but for communication on security matters I will go for centralization. Remember Tiwa Adodankwah on the Takoradi girls, Once she came out to say she has closed up on the issue and will soon find the girls, everybody was on her when she could not find them. Having one PRO in Accra communicating on all police matters helps the police to think through security matters and come out with well thought out information. There is strength in that and that helped Dampare. I will advise Yehonu to consider the pros and cons carefully before scrapping it. The media may not get the news hot but they will ultimately get more accurate information.
