What! Does the Fisheries Minister want to deplete all our fish stocks? This is unnecessary populism.
If you grow at the beach and knows how the fishing season works you would applaud the minister for this move. If you are from the interior and knows nothing about the sea please keep quiet.

The closed season policy was a good idea to protect depleted fish stock. However, it’s implementation caused immense financial hardship. How do you expect anyone in Ghana, to survive with no income for 2-3 months? This poli ...

So do you think it will be beneficial if there reaches a time where fishers find it hard to find fish doing bumper season?
For any country to grow and develop, it needs to hold science and technology in high esteem. A poor country will follow political interest.
