He was born in 1925 and in 1935 as the WW2 was going on he was 10years old. So at 10years old he went to the battlefield of WW2?

The war started in 1939 when he was 14 years and ended in 1945 when he was 20 years. Many soldiers were in their teens so it's true he actually fought in his teens.
Simple logic. The grand oldpa must have been possibly drafted at 18.

He was born in 1925; the war started in 1939 when he was 14. Very likely he was drafted into the colonial army when he was between 18 and 19. Julius Odame, learn history properly before you post anything on social media.
