Do people really understand what they hear? Once a tax bill is passed into law, it mandates the government to execute measures in its collection. The emissions tax law was passed but it was never implemented. The tax act has been amended severally. It is one of the most amended laws we have but some of them have not been implemented for collection. Who has ever paid emission levy in Ghana ? This revocation amount to nought. They have revoked the law but that law was only redundant as it was never executed
