It would be prudent to have a railway line from Tema to Paga. It should be for freight and passengers.
A high speed train doing 200km/hr would do 4 hours. With rail it would create business opportunities in many communities along the rail way lines.
Your airport is never going to be patronized by any people because no ticket would be less than 3000 cedis unless the aircraft are going to use water as fuel

You wonder who decides on who becomes a leader in Ghana. What is the correlation between gold discovered in upper east region and the building of an airport? How much is the gold bringing to the region and how much does it cost to build a support? How many Ghanaians fly in a year and how many of them travel by road?
Secondly, which one should be our priority: gold mining or mechanized agriculture? The fact is we have appointed clueless idiots to lead. A country of 33 million that imports rice, wheat, tomatoes, goats, beef, toothpicks, second hand clothing, fruit juice and some fruits which can all be produced in Ghana should rather be thinking of mechanized agriculture and not gold mining. These NPP AND NDC animals are better for the slaughter house than to lead. It is dualized carriage roads with 24 hour service, non stop transport system that the people need. Why do we produce what we don’t eat but end up importing what we eat after 68 years of independence? The colonial mindset is what has reduced the African to a perpetual dependents. IT is our lazy mindset and not because we’ve been cursed
