Kudos to Mr. William Yirenkyi for exposing the Ghana Police Service from the top down for its shameful disregard for honest behavior. Now that Ghana has a new government, it is incumbent on every Ghanaian to be courageous enough to speak out against the government and its agency if they find it corruptible and not doing what's in the best interest of Ghanaians. Even though bribery and corruption are not a function and duty of the Police Service, the service's actions and behaviors make people conjecture that corruption and taking bribes are official functions of the Service.
It is shameful and despicable that the Police Service has, by its actions, given Ghanaians such an impression of itself.
