  I know this couple. I taught with them at Nifa Secondary School, Adukrom. I must say they are a wonderful pair. The husband being a science teacher understands what autism is and has never attributed it to anything. He understands it to being a neurological disorder and the pair, especially Mrs Kuffour has been phenomenal in dealing with the challenges. Let’s help this couple to develop autistics for lots of them , having originality of thoughts and visions come up with very interesting things. Persons like Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton and Nikola Tesla were persons who had autism spectrum disorders. Let’s not push aside autistic, they could hold keys to phenomenal inventions if we appropriately tap into their special gifts
  
  The couple have gone ahead to even set up the school to cater for children with such challenges. It is hoped that government will extend a hand of assistance to this coupl

  You mean thrive what Elon Musk have fun to our government or are you forgetting he autistic very socially appropriate and doesn't understand respect for other people in their work. I did it autism is a hard diagnosis but people trying to say it's okay and it's normal for these people to act out inappropriately in public is pathetic. Even the most highly function autistic person is still extremely socially inept. Cue the song and dance that Elon Musk does every day

  Well done to this couple for helping their daughter to thrive and excel. As a society, we need to be more accepting of people with differing capabilities from our own. Let’s all be kind and supportive.

  Check out The Institute for the Achievement of Human Potential (IAHP) for valuable advice on how to heal any brain damaged child. It's founder Dr. Glenn Doman and the organization he created has been healing brain injured adults and children since the 1950s. My son is a graduate of his program.

  Resources matter, but parents and a supportive community matter MORE. This child is having good outcomes because she had great parents coupled with their supportive network, much like our son has.
