Closing down the bank, especially for the sake of political expediency, would have grately distabilised the banking sector, and further eroded investor confidence in our economy. An economy cannot be reset in such a manner.

Besides, I only recall promises look into the cases of the Banks affected by the 'actions' of the previous Government, which cannot reasonably be said to imply the closure of CBG.

Mahama has really disappointed me.I thought he will not repeat the mistakes of Akuffo Addo but he is replicating the same.What justification does he have with the appointment of the wife of the general secretary.Surely there will conflict of interest in the selection process and this is purely family and cronies appointments.Am tempted to believe he is not on top of this appointments for various positions because this error is easier to be rectified than to let go.Aaaaaba Mahama paaaa.
