If truth be told, the ballooning Americans debts is not good for anybody. It's an exesisential threat to global peace and security. The Akans have a proverb that said " woyonko3 daa ena wodaa "which witt, You can only sleep well when your neighbour also sleeps well. The 34 Trillion dollars debt and still counting is not sustainable and if nothing is done to bring down those debts, could lead to sudden collapse of USA economy which may not be good for anybody including Ghana. If the ongoing Russian Ukraine war and covid 19 could bring the world economy to it's knees, you can imagine the scenario of sudden collapse of USA financial markets. I'm sorry for being the devil advocate. Maybe your humble approach could yield results like reductions in the 10%. Any reduction in the tariffs is win for both countries. We can only wish you good luck in your encounter with USA ambassador to Ghana. Thanks.
