ACGM established, funded and controlled from China, is the most dangerous threat to Ghana's mining industry. Hitherto, our Ghanaian participation by way of significant investment in serious large scale mining has been minimal. Indeed for hundreds of years of mining, Ghana hss nothing but PEANUTS to show as Royalties. We have not had a share in mining profits because we have not been shareholders. Go to Tarkwa, Aboso, Bogoso, Prestea and Obuasi and you will see.the degradation. Let us think again about how we Ghanaians fail to invest in mining and related industries. The practice of leasing mining lands in return for ROYALTIES is too colonial. Let us learn from our northern neighbours.
