  You were just told by the engineer what the problem is. And you verified it and found 5 trucks heavily overloaded. We have had earlier reports of massive corruption at the axle load stations with huge amounts changing hands to allow overloaded trucks to pass. Replace all the workers. Use digitalization to check the corruption. Ask our young men and they will design a fool-proof system.

  I was also shocked to read the minister saying he’d institute a committee to look into the axle loading. When a bird drops on a ministers car in Ghana , a committee is Established to look into it. Incredible

President Mills continued from Bogoso Junction to Bogoso and it’s still intact, except the recent Appiatse incident, although it is used by these same heavy trucks. The explanation cannot therefore be wholly right; it is shoddy work. Simplicita.

From ayanfuri to apemanim the Bogoso junction to apemanim which is in the spot light is the best road. The problem is the manganese that his hauled from nsuta. You know the Chinese are born bad race like we Africans. Out of the 5 trucks that were caught I can tell you 4 are manganese . The rail project should be continued to take the load off our roads

Can we set up a fund that some percentage of what they pay will go into the fixing of the rails? Either we are stupid or just dishonest

  Mr Minister every layman knows the lack of rail transport is the problem PNDC collapsed rails and no one is doing anything.Noise making won't solve the problem start your projects and stop shouting on NPP projects

  All serious countries bulk commodities are on rails.When we were young in Tarkwa everything was on rails.The noise of the Minister is sickening .Ghana needs a rail system for economic development.

  The contractor responsible for the Agona Nkwanta–Tarkwa road has failed Ghanaians. The road has become extremely dangerous, especially when driving from Tarkwa. If you don't hold your steering wheel firmly, you risk veering off due to the road's terrible condition.
  
  Overloaded manganese trucks continue to worsen the situation, and with the rainy season approaching, the danger will only increase. Unlike the Awaso–Bogoso stretch—which remains intact despite heavy bauxite trucks—this road clearly lacked proper feasibility studies and durable materials.
  
  As a project management student, I know every project must go through a proper lifecycle. This was clearly ignored. Government must act now before lives are lost.
