Somehow wastage of gov.resources because every gov. Office an it's own audit office plus emis office which are directly connected to the various regional and national offices to audit pay-rolls, recruitments and transfers at the end of every month . Validation of salaries is also there to check on the payroll,transfer and recruitment. Recruitment and transfers have their windows of opening for proper monitoring,except those who are going on pension ,if right. Audit service remains the major problem in the country's history because it has failed to report what it is to be reported ,the reason why GES is having fake and illegal documents and office holders everywhere in the country's education offices. But the question is ,who watches the watchman.

Carry on. Payroll audit must go on every quarter. Due to the economic hardship in preceding years, many government workers: teachers, nurses, technocrats, etc travel outside the country leaving ATM cards to be working for them in Ghana. I was audited some six months ago and asked the auditors why? When they mentioned the case of the mass Exodus, I called for more regular audit. We have people who are so criminally minded and nation wrecking in this country. Let us have the few cedis saved to employ or pay others.
