  NOT GOOD AT THIS TIME, AYARIGA !
  In matters of this tense situations, one has to be careful not to say anything to cause the police to lose their morale. It’s a fact that the opposing sides are belligerent, and certainly non compromising. This is not a political matter but one of chieftaincy and traditionalism. The security people are there to maintain peace. If anything from them is high handed, their commanders are to be directed to take disciplinary measures, one that would seem to be punitive but not in a way to demoralize the troops.
  Unfortunately, Ayariga’s public statement tends to appease the youth and demoralize the police. It’s difficult to for him to speak the truth at all times and lose his seat because of unpopularity, but he needs to always speak the truth and be unpopular with the people.
  Any nasty or volatile situation that happens in Bawku enclave is due to the provocation of one of the factions by the other but not the security people.
  The security can end this confrontation or at least control it if the politicians give them that chance and play neutrality. My suggestion is that no politician, security personnel from either faction should be given a public position like Ayariga’s position, a military detachment commander, a police commander, or even an area director of education, municipal office, or even fire, prison officers.
  The level of mistrust among the factions is very high so no faction member should hold any high position in the area. The Divisional Police commander’s residence wouldn’t be torched if he wasn’t a tribesman of one of the factions by.

  Ayariga has an appointment & his direct brother has been made the Ceo of the youth authority. One family who used the conflict to their political have been rewarded. This is not to even talk about appointment to the other faction but even in one faction one family bagged it all. More tensions are brewing & Ayariga's manipulation of the situation to the NDC interest during the 2024 election is steering at him. Even now, him coming home is a problem. The NDC must apologise to the community to pave way for peaceful negotiations.
