  Another unnecessary debt to Ghana by politicians. The barge terminals and ports are not ready so how is it going to be operationalised. This project started in the last NDC govt. No provision was made for passenger stops because it was mainly haulage line. The same situation is with Boankra in Ashanti. No rail line but we are actively building a container terminal. For what purpose? And we are paying the loans back. Oh Ghana.

  After all these years and a ministry dedicated to a non existent railway and lots of borrowing it seems like a waste
  
  
  Had they had real vision all infrastucture such as a port for small coasters to convey goods from mpakadan to another rail connection to Burkina and beyond would also have been constructed or underway.
  
  The Tema port could have a trans west Africa terminal devoted to the land locked neighbours and their customs processing goods to and from the port.
