NPP remains the only party when a sitting MP was arrested with cocaine in the USA. He was tried and convicted and sentenced. During Nana and Bawumia there were no arrest because drugs baron were allowed free passage. They condoned with their activities that's why we didn't hear of arrest. They allowed them to engage in freely. The cocaine that was recently seized prrobably left it's destination even before the elections were held in Dec.2024. These guys bring these drugs from South America countries like Colombia, Venezuela etc and so it would have taken some planning and logistics to enable them transport cocaine with 3500 m USD. If there are any government officials involved they will certainly be NPP government officials.During the transition period JM didn't want move into the jubilee house because the whole place was smelling of cocaine and weed. They had to clean and spray before they could move in.

Ghana's constitution ban other countries from sponsoring political parties in Ghana.
To circumvent that US and her allies resolved that its only by supplying NPP illicit drugs to sell and make money that gives them the chance to help the party.
In addition to that they also make allegations of bribe taking and corruption against other partisan political parties in Ghana.
Some of it were the vehicle and Airbus bribe allegations against John Mahama.
