  From Bawku to Osu, the underlining factors of chieftainçy has been the refusal of groups to accept that what we're puny thatched mudhut hamlets and bush of 20 to 40 buildings have today become wealthy townships and cities. The nation needs a law for state acquisition of all bush lands that were there before 6th of March 1957. Think how the Airport and East Legon were bush with no chiefs.

  State takes a portion of land ostensibly in national interest. After a few years, those in power shares it amongst themselves. Opposition cries foul in order to gain political traction. They are voted into power and then promptly turns around and begin to do the very same things that they cried against and rode on to power. Summary of Ghana's political story. Can it change? Hmmmmm.
