  If one hasn't witnessed slavery and hard-core corruption with utter impunity he should make time and visit any military installment. Until the reality of the neocolonialism and massive volumes of corruption happening in the military is brought to light Ghana will never prosper. What the commissioned officers are doing to the soldiers is more than APARTHEID. Just visit the Ghana Military Academy at Teshies that trains commissioned officers and visit the Army Recruit Training School at Shai Hills that train soldiers and you'll appreciate the level of inhumane treatment the soldiers are made to endure in a supposed independent Ghana. From pay disparities to feeding and housing disparities lay a myriad of discrimination and apartheid-like treatment extended towards the soldiers with impunity. The black man after gaining independence just inherited the armed forces regulations from the Whiteman and is subjecting his own black colleagues to the same maltreatment the white colonialist extended to the black slave pre-independence and i ask what was the benefit of struggling to liberate ourselves from colonial rule?
