Again, the government should stop providing protection to their community headman, Abugroo, and see whether the place wouldn't become peaceful and serene? It is wrong for whoever receives protection from the government to enjoy that but launch attacks on others at the same time. Those people are also tax paying citizens who needs protection and and it is forbidden for you who is given state protection to attack them illegally, something you could never do if you weren't under state protection, given 24 hours military protection in your house. It is lack of political will to do the needful that is causing all that.

The IGP went to smoke a piece pipe with the inhabitants but he was hooted and booed by the youth .If Bawku people can not give peace a chance, then the government must apply force . Bawku is not bigger than Ghana. Lives are being lost daily in Bawku . Why? If the people of Bawku will not live peacefully, then the government must tell them how to live . Flood the town with security agents who will monitor the activities of the people and who ever go against the rules should be arrested and jailed outside of Bawku . The government must confiscate their arms and those found with arms must be prosecuted. If persuasion fails , force must be applied.
