Ewes have loads of untapped mineral resources, large tracks of fertile lands, many rivers, mountains, tropical forests, and even, shoreline with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. Ewes will progress faster, if they are independent than in current union with other inland dwellers.

Remember, majority of Ewes want their own nation in order to accelerate development because they have abundantl resources to take excellent care of all their citizens but are always compelled, using military power, to suppress abd antegrate them with Gold Coast.

That is where the issue is. They are alleging that because non of the shortlisted candidates is an Ashanti, they want to impose a non-shortlisted candidate on them. Why are we not addressing this issue but we are rather turning the tables and bringing in this tribal politics. Is it true that the lady was not among the shortlisted candidates? Is she new to the party as alleged and is she a relative of the RM. By the way, it is not only in Ashanti land that we have chiefs of other tribes.

He single-handedly transformed the regional capital through radical reforms (by moving the Zongos from the town centre, pulled down all structures including mosque to pave way for the modernization of the Koforidua we see today. Many Akan persons came ahead of Col Minyilah but could not deal with the slum/filth, lawlessness of the time.
Does the tribe of who is appointed MCE/Regional Minister etc really matter???

However, I disagree with Nana Mamponghene that it is only in Asante that you have other tribes installing their chiefs. May Nana Mamponghene has not travelled out of Mamapong for long. There are Asante Chiefs in other regions too. In Salaga we have the Chief for Asantes.
Having said that I think the action of youth is absolutely unnecessary.
