I think the leadership of chamber of mines needs to be sacked. Because I don't see after a successful expiration of a lease agreement affects investor confidence. Have you thought of the benefits made over the years by the company? Is the more precious than the State that granted them licence for 30 years? The narrative must change and opportunities given to Ghanaians to help grow our economy. Anybody who thinks this decision is wrong has a mental problem and does not have the State at heart.

It was a lease for a number of years which this foreign company agreed to. That contract is over.. govt has every right to now bring the mining activity in-house (that is do it themselves) or tender and bring in new companies ...
