The country needs to pay the IPPs and also find money to buy fuel to power our thermal. plants. That cost the country $2bn yearly . ECG cost recovery and the ESR levy on fuel can’t get even half of the money , so government needs to find extra money from general taxes to cover this . This is the problem we have .
