  She went the extra mile to explain the "morpheme", "allomorph" and the numerous other concepts always with a SMILE.
  Prof, may the Almighty God increase the length of your days on earth. Some of us still cherish your good work with nostalgia.

  The 'Skin Pain' and 'PHD' - 'Pull Him/Her Down' mentality of Ghanaians is just terrible.
  We are so accepting of this disgusting behaviour, that we simply shrug our shoulders and let out a wry sigh when we read about how others, particularly other women, were challengers to Prof's tenure.
  We thank God she survived their subtle but insidious attacks.

  Prof Dolphyne was an epitome of grace, respect , modesty , motherly, humility and superb academics. Having taught me and numerous students, I had my first suprise when as an First Year student this great woman met me on the staircase to the lecture theater and greeted me with a smile and quizzed how am I doing which was very non existent among most lecturers from other courses of mine. This continued throughout my 4 year stay on campus. Infact the Linguistics Dept was very different and the lectures were extremely nice and affable. I vividly remember her occasionally advise to the students and warm but professional approach to students during ecturing. This endear3d her to many students and made most first year students who took Linguistics majored in the course. He was a beacon of grace and feminism but did it with such honour and tact. No doubt she rose to become a Pro VC and left an indelible Mark on many students and groomed many persons most of whom have become examples and ascended to great heights including person including even the current VC. Prof Dolphyne isn't a woman of faith, great academician, woman of character, a positive impact on many of us but an enigmatic leader par excellence!!
