A Major will never be appointed to sit on a committee to determine the fate a JAG (Judge Advocate General), who maybe a Colonel or above in the Armed Forces, but below a Supreme Court judge. May be, an equivalent of Appeals Court judge. It is a breach of military discipline, should a Major be appointed for that purpose, even mistakenly. How then is a Major appointed to sit on a committee to determine the fate of the Chief Justice of Ghana, who is above a JAG, both in the public service and in the administration of justice? A by far junior determining the fate of a senior in the public service, who is also the head of the judiciary? Wow! This is a serious aberration!!

@ KK even with Adibu Asiedu, Mahama has no option. Currently the 13 Supreme Court judges the only non Akuffo Addo appointees are Baffoe Bonnie and Gabriel Pwamang. And because the committee should have 2 justices from the Supreme Court obviously Mahama's only appointee Pwamang,would be the chairman of the committee.. Mahamah could have added Baffoe Bonnie to the committee but in that case he should be the chair instead of Pwamang which is also no no after all Baffoe Bonnie is NPP president appointee. Again if Baffoe Bonnie is on the committee with Pwamang the next senior most to step in as acting CJ obviously be one of the Akuffo Addo appointees which is no way.
So yes Justice is there because the options are clearly not there.
And Domelovo wow. The other two I have not heard about them till yesterday so cannot insinuate anything about them.
In conclusion CJ would be found guilty as charged.
