Why can't we leave those appointments in the hands of Concil of State, the Judicial Council and Parlaiment? That will rid them of executive influence for them to remain impartial.

It is ok provided they would be fair to others too and not only to the party in power. We saw what happened with cases NDC brought to the courts. Why should they allow that to continue when they have power? Fighting corruption is one of their main goals but these judges will set all the NPP criminals free. This is why it is important to have fair minded judges in our courts.

This whole clandestine scheme designed to frustrate the government intends to get justice is now completely derailed by the CJ' suspension. Don't forget she could be in suspension as long as 3 years by then the suspected npp judges could have been precipitated. And citizens could now get justice at the courts without bias and moreover the judges will put on their neutral gowns. May the good lord help us and let the npp see the true colour of justice, that a CJ is for the country and for the appointing political party. She isn't the first female CJ so can not be treated differently. She didn't learn early to decipher politics from law and now have to pay the price. Its unfortunate but its happening now.

Ghanaians should support our ministers to deal with lazy and non performing chief executive officers. This is a wake up call to every Ghanaian. In management this what we call chain of command. If you are in position you think you aren't given the resources it's better you resign for the government to see how serious you are. In Europe even MPs resign when their government is failing their electorate not in Africa .I rest my case we are building a country not political parties so the opposition parties should think about Ghana first.
