Yes, that was the Nkrumah we worship today. When he loses a case, the CJ has to be dismissed. All the placards used in the demonstrations were prepared by CPP operatives.

Your lack of knowledge blinds you... Nkrumah's removal of the CJ although I wouldn't have supported if I was born at the time, nonetheless was peculiar. Nkrumah was bombed (this is serious issue unlike the little issues that are causing presidents to remove EC chairs and CJs). What Nkrumah sort to do was that, based on the circumstantial evidences used to jail and condemn 7 people to either death or live imprisonment, there were 5 others who were presumably CPP members who were acquitted.
But Nkrumah being honest and the fact that he wouldn't entertain favoritism couldn't understand why the CPP members were acquitted of the same charges (when all the others were condemned on circumstantial evidences).
That is what motivated Nkrumah to bring forth accusation against the CJ.
Although unfair to the CJ but rather reasonable based on common sense. From that time Nkrumah never did anything against the judiciary as he was satisfied... Unlike the Nana Addo Danquah who packed the Supreme court like his own backyard and made menace of our judicial system; not to talk of the sacking of the former EC chairperson.

For Mahama he has neither than the wrong of Nkrumah nor that of Nana Addo; Mahama has not caused any ill-motive towards any institution like Nana Addo the wicked did.

CJ Torkonoo has, however, not passed any judgement that has incurred the wrath of President Mahama. Her ordeal is a clear case of political witch-hunting perpetrated by those who claim that she is inwardly a member of a political particular party. The two cases are entirely different.

The removal of Sir Arku Korsah as the Chief Justice is one of the minuses against President Nkrumah and should never be repeated. Please the facts and the circumstances are not the same. Please has any bomb be thrown at President Mahama? NO..On 1st August 1962, President Nkrumah was returning from the Upper Volta and when he reached Kulungungu in the Bawku area, a bomb was thrown at President Nkrumah as a school girl was presenting a bouquet of flowers to President Nkrumah. The school girl 's body was torn into spare parts.Captain Buckman, President Nkrumah 's Aide de Camp(ADC), pushed President Nkrumah down and laid on top of President Nkrumah and saved President Nkrumah 's life but they were injured. President Nkrumah, his ADC, Asumda, the Regional Commissioner for Upper Region, the District Commissioner were all injured. In all 77 were injured.Three policemen died.At the trial by the Special Court, manned by Sir Arku Korsah, the Chief Justice, William Bedford Van Lare, Justice of the Supreme Court and Edward Akufo Addo, Justice of the Supreme Court, found guilty Robert Otchere, the National Liberation Movement (NLM) MP for Amansie West and Yaw Manu also of the N L M and convicted them.Ako Adjei, Tawiah Adamafio both CPP Ministers and H. Kofi Crabbe also of the CPP were discharged. (State Versus Otchere and Others.1963 2 GLR 463). Because of President Nkrumah 's frame of mind, he was not happy with the discharge of the others and sent Sir Arku Korsah back to the Supreme Court and appointed Julius Sarkodee Addo as the Chief Justice. Sir Arko Korsah resigned..Please the National Liberation Council (NLC) that took over after the overthrow of President Nkrumah on 24 February 1966 also removed Julius Sarkodee Addo as the Chief Justice and appointed Edward Akufo Addo as the Chief Justice. Please, please this removal of Sir Arku Korsah as the Chief Justice by President Nkrumah should never be repeated.Please, please no bomb has been thrown at President Mahama. Please please the lady Chief Justice, Gertrude Torkornoo should not be removed.
