The police and the government must allow the demonstration because most Ghanaians who voted for the NDC and Mahama know that the current government didn’t create galamsey so if this demonstration is meant to be seen as the government’s incompetence, we are clever enough to know who made galamsey worse. The cynical attempts by the NPP to undermine the government must be condemned. It shows their frustrations of the elections results.

The police are bias because of NDC being in power,but all of you the citizens either NPP or NDC should know that everyone is going to get affected in a different way. The impact of this evil galamsey is affecting foodstuffs so don’t think you in Accra,Kumasi,Ho,Bolga and other places so you don’t care.Nobody knows exactly where the foodstuffs are coming from not even the women who goes to the villages to buy them so no one should protect party A or B.Mahama and his party should put an end to this nonsense or we will pray that the Military takes over the country and rule and they can stop it within a month.

What has Akuffo Addo and his government done about Galamsey in the eight years that they have been in government? They rather promote the practice with Wontumi bragging and demonstrating publicly gold bars that he has in his possession. Other party members were equally emboldened to go into galamsey with impunity. But Mahama and the NDC have been in power for about three months only and the actions they have taken so far in galamsey is quite impressive. What else does Okatakyie Afrifa want from Mahama . He just want to blow his nostrils to give relevance to his agenda but Ghanaians have seen the efforts by Mahama to curtail galamsey and so his protest is useless and he must be stopped by the police and the courts. The government must rather focus on implementing the agenda of ORAL
because that will be the biggest demonstration if they fail to act.

The Police should not pursue this injunction. Allow the demonstration because the life and existence of Ghana depends on our forests and rivers.
Galamsey must stop. A state of emergency must be declared.
