Npp doesn't need him. They should ask his constituents about his attitude as their former Mp.

No problem at all, afterall it's your right so long as you're a party member of good standing. And it shouldn't be any problem at all if you end up getting only 1 vote (i.e. your vote) after the close of the elections.
