If the ChiefJustice is found guilty she should be sacked.She is not above the law. Citizens of Ghana petitioned for her removal and not Mahama.Those imputing political motives for her removal are idiots.

He He He Ghanani, the CJ knows very well that she is guilty and is on her way out.I believe the committee is tacitly giving her the opportunity to resign to avoid further embarrassment.

Rawlings used the PNDC to kill the judges who overturned the AFRC tribunal rulings. Mahama is using the NDC to remove the Chief Justice. Truly Mahama said he was a Deadgoat when he first became president. Truly he is still a Deadgoat in his second term as president. No regard for the legal system of Ghana. Deadgoat indeed like Rawlings the killer.

Now that President Mahama and the Council of State have acted upon the 3 petitions that the 3 losers of lawsuits filed against Torkonoo the Chief Justice, it is clear that any Ghanaian citizen who has lost a case in any lawcourt can submit a petition for the removal of the presiding judge. Rawlings PNDC killed the Appeal Court Judges who overturned the AFRC tribunal rulings. Mahama NDC is doing the removal of a sitting Chief Justice. From my observation and some of my appearance in courts, it seems that from two of the petitions the Chief Justice has abused her office.
What judges do is to direct that a motion or Exhibit no served on one of the parties ...

From my observation and some of my appearance in courts, it seems that from two of the petitions the Chief Justice has abused her office.
What judges do is to direct that a motion or Exhibit no served on one of the parties in the litigation in the court be served.
The party that served the motion or the Exhibit then goes to the Registry of the court to collect the docket, examine it and confirm that the motion or Exhibit has been served.
He then collects a form of confirmation of service, mark the relevant questions, which he gives to the Registrar of the court who in thern attack a letter to it and put it on the docket.
