  How can T- bill rate be lower than inflation? It's against the whole point of buying treasuries.

  My friend please be informed that decision of selling treasury bills and Bank of Ghana gold coin is to call up excess money in the system to reduce inflation and strengthen the currency (Cedi).
  The Bank of Ghana is also working to increase our gold reserve through the GoldBod which will also go a long way to shield the our currency.
  So to me I think they need to be applauded and supported fir the great job they are doing.

  Great job! The decision of selling treasury bills and Bank of Ghana gold coins are to call up excess liquidity in the system to reduce inflation and strengthen the currency (Cedi). Bawumia, Addison, Ofori-Attah and NPP did a terrible job at the Bank Ghana flouting all our monetary policy laws and acts by printing case like mad men. For that reason it was necessary to call up all the excess liquidity in the system.
  The Bank of Ghana is working to increase our gold reserves through the GoldBod which will also go a long way to shield the our currency.
  So to me I think they need to be applauded and supported fir the great job they are doing

  Thats why i dont do T bill again because i cant push my money there and you give me small interest meanwhile those politicians dont do t bill but they expect us to put our money there so that they will use it to build the nat ...
