  Just establish two large scale mining companies in every constituency and let them employ 1000 workers each. That will give you min 550000 direct Jobs that will take care of the remaining in the indirect sector.

  It is the involvement of foreigners that has resulted in destruction of water bodies and also large equipments and lack of reclamation activities
  Political leadership at all levels and across all parties and so called neutrals have brought abt this problem
  Dr Adam I know wen u leave parliament u will not be staying in Ghana but think religiously about the larger population and let’s try to find a solution
  It is doable to remove the negative impacts

  I hope this a fake news from the former government official. As he appears to be extremely ignorant to make such a statement on galamsey. He was our finance minister for a legitimate government ruling over thirty five million people and have no sense of direction for the Nation State general welfare. Where did this gentleman attended University to gain his advanced education. Folks something is wrong in the head with this gentleman. The purpose of good government is to protect and seek for the general welfare of the people. The government as matter of Policy can stop the galamsey with in twenty four hours. That is if the government is not part of the scheme. The previous government was totally corrupt and stole the people money. The government officials mismanaged the economy and had destroyed the morale fabric of the society. The involved people in the previous administration should be arrested and jailed for crimes against humanity. They are disgraceful to the Black Race and have no shame.
