  Now you will know your level. You can even extend the date to the end of 2028, the gold dealers will teach you a lesson the demand for gold will drop very soon. In fact you may not even see the gold again, yet they will get it out of Ghana and you loose the little revenue pmmc used to get for mother Ghana. Giving a big appointment doesn't make you a good leader so please tone down and learn from those you met in pmmc.

  Point to consider at this point is that the GALAMSEY MENANCE is still at bay --still causing havoc ,which by all account is an EXISTENTIAL THREATENING issue --in fact it appears that this GALAMSEY DISASTER which must be given an immediate priority is being handled in a lackadaisical fashion .
  Seriously, the GALAMSEY MENANCE MUST BE STOPPED;--need to stopped-.The scene of the havoc the small scale mining activity has rained upon us is frightening --the ugly site of devastated agricultural land ;the muddy polluted water bodies is an open --common sight ---displayed in the media--in the farming areas and in the forest areas. Why should we continue to encourage the output of more gold from this same small scale mining source which is not responsibly extracted-----due to some illegal tag.--so in order not to potentiate the effect of the GALAMSEY MENANCE ---a BAN ACT to stop any form of Small Scale Mining operation for a certain period of say 10 years to allow he vegetation and water bodies regain an unpolluted state must be in order .Both Legal and Illegal Small Scale Mining must be stopped. In the interim
  Parliament enacts a LAW to BAN any Small Scale Mining venture for that foreseeable period---a VIOLATION of the BAN -LAW must attract severe penalty even death sentence by Firing quad .Any culprit, non citizens and citizens must equally face same penalty. For an example, in some countries in Asia, Drug [Narcotic ] Trafficking attracts severe Penalty and in most cases death sentence --it is a deterrent and it works.
  Meanwhile a serious afforestation exercise must be undertaken to get the forest and water bodies back to LIFE unpolluted. Extracting gold from small scale mining cannot be the only JOB to be engaged in. That cannot be an excuse- that it is a job. --Let the gold remain underground- undisturbed until a safe responsible environmental friendly method of winning the gold is designed ; with the operation of the new GOLDBOD on hold ,young Sammy GYAMFI will be deployed to head a nation-wide tree planting program which will get the vast desecrated- -devastated vegetation back to Life .In addition Sammy GYAMFI may join Ofosu Kwakye at the Communication ministry to help with the NDC propaganda agenda.
  A President may wish for the GALAMSEY MENANCE to end but it shall and can only be STOPPED effectively when PARLIAMENT enacts a LAW to BAN the Small Scale Mining venture as I have suggested.--More so, if the concept behind the GOLDBOD ENTRPRISE is genuine and not a grand scheme to sleaze and amass wealth for JDM ,SAMMY GYAMFI and the NDC Party the operation of the ENTERPRISE needs to be put on hold meanwhile until the GALAMSEY MENANCE is effectively taken care of-by this meaning STOPPED.---so it is up to the PRESIDENT JDM, the TUC; PROTESTING GROUPS; CIVIL SOCIETIES; and other PRESSURE GROUPS -to ask PARLIAMENT TO DO THE NEEDFUL--PASS A LAW TO BAN ANY SMALL SCALL MINING in the interim to save us all from this EXISTENTIAL THREATENING GALAMSEY MENANCE which is killing us all softly and slowly. THIS DEFINITELY SAHLL BE A GOOD INVESTMENT IN OUR ENVIROMENT. WATER is PRICELESS.PLANTS[VEGETATION] IS LIFE;THE WATER IS LIFE not the gold.
  WE [GHANA ] means it --NO TO GALAMSEY--STOP GALAMSAY NOW--to SAVE US ALL and the GENERATION to come .LET US GRAB the BULL by the HORNS and deal with IT once and for all-----know that we cannot eat the cake and keep it ---ENACT a BAN LAW---PARLIAMENT about time you treat the GALAMSEY MENANCE with an urgency.
