She should travel outside and see how all manner of workers, including government officials use public transport. She has the ignorant effrontery to say this because in Ghana, remuneration and perks are not attached to productivity and hours of work but to paper certificates and to certain class of professions. Your demands for vehicles is not related to how efficient and effective justice is delivered more rapidly. Are those judges not paid salary? Save and buy or obtain car loans if you can't take public transport. There are some car owners who prefer to take other transport to work because they feel they can save on petrol. Think about ways to save money for socioeconomic development and stop your unnecessary and conscionable demands

Not the guilty Plaintiff who admitted IN WRITING to filing forged, false documents.
Not the state-approved Bar attorney.
Just the poor Defendant.

In my considerable experience, only guilty people are forced to always look over their shoulders. If the judge in the case is looking over her shoulders, it's because she is rightfully afraid of having to face the consequences of judicial malfeseance.

The something applies to Judges. They are always the targets of criminals in the society. They are always the targets for those who loose their cases in court.

Hence Judges are not to be exposed to the society because their job is high risk job.

People are citing Europe and America. In those countries, no judge is exposed to the society like the way they are exposed in Ghana.

We need to understand the judge from security point of view. They are high risk fellow Ghanaians. Ghana need to do something about it.

In the develped countries only Ministers are entiled to free vehicles while in office. Once they leave office, they have to cater for their own means of transportation. I appreciate the honourable Judge's concern about her juniors using Trotro and pragyia as a most of transport for official duties. I also recognize her concerns about work related risks on decisions she takes that may be unpleasant that may evoke reprisals from those with criminal intents. I only want to bring to our noble judge's attention that in the UK where I did my terminal degree, buses and trains are used by all manner of people, judges included. Furthermore, the risks she alludes to is also experienced by other professionals. For example as a Professor with over 30 years of experience, I would tell you not all my students have been happy with the grades they obtained from courses but knowing that I followed the rules, I am not deterred. She should therefore not get worried if she knows she followed the rules.
