I don’t know which president would have kept them after all they came on air to do. Surprisingly, the Akan haters always mention Charlotte Osei as a justification to why the CJ must also be removed. Mahama can go ahead and remove her but whoever is replaced with her also moves out the day Mahama leaves office. Period!

Mahama wants to reshape the judiciary into an NDC-friendly establishment where they can win bogus cases. That is the real threat to judicial independence and the rule of law, not a GBA resolution calling on the president to reverse the suspension of the CJ., which is tantamount to a blatant sabotage on the separation of powers.

  Politics of convenience as usual. I remember very well the unfortunate incident where Charlotte Osei was removed as EC chair and there was no debate about Nana Addo following the due process or not. The issues were about the accusations levelled against Charlotte Osei and the CSOs, NDC strongly condemned the act without raising any issue whether Nana Addo followed the due legal process. Today, the CSOs are quiet about the frivolous allegations against Torkonoo and there argument is that Mahama followed due process. Why didn't they support Nana then when Charlotte was sacked as Nana Addo also followed the same due process Mahama is following today? Instead Nana Addo was criticised and lambasted. Hyprocrisy the bane of our democracy.
