Many would agree that the image of a country is important in how the world perceives the country and her ability to attract foreign investors. This is why it is important that that lying priest who accused the government of drug dealing must be held accountable legally. Otherwise, that drug dealing image tarnishes the government and the country. Not sure why the government seems to be hesitant in proving its innocence by using all legal means to force him to retract that serious allegations. Meanwhile, the NPP seriously needs to be responsible in its utterances. So far, it has not proven to be a responsible party which offers alternative policies to the country.

The principles of "Home Coming," introduced alongside Emancipation Day Celebrations was decent, intellectual and spirit filled. Ghana was to have become like a "Mecca" to diasporans (African decendants globally) without messing it up as it is now.

When the NPP govt first came into power, they deviated from the noble principles and this is where it's landed us as a nation.

Mr. Bagbin. Detty December is not a problem. Do not make it a problem. Do not draw negative international attention to it like you did with LGBTQ+. You have admitted you did not know about it until a recent conversation in the US. Prove that it is not a problem. There's a strong competition for this December phenomenon all through West Africa, from Senegal to Cameroon. Why? It brings in much needed foreign currency. If there are minor criminal issues associated with it, let the law deal with. There's an institution called THE POLICE. Make it work.

Furthermore, there should be Police presence at all festivals to obstract any illegal activities which could give our country a bad international reputation. I hope the IGP reads this.
