How could this happen in any civilized society where law and order reigns. There are elderly people, traditional chiefs and a police station in this alleged town. So how come these miscreants are able to do what they are allegedly doing with impunity? Similar thing happened in Odumasi in the Asante Akyim area. If the powers that be were not to be behind galamsey, there is no way this would happen. The chief in towngets his share, local government officials and the police are involved, and so these fools can do whatever they please. This is really worrisome.
