  The minister is speaking Sense here. Only wisemen will understand his message. The school feeding issue has even made some students to give up their education. Sometimes, a poor man’s child prefers to stay at home and eat her mama’s poor food than that from the school. The eating culture and the quality of food at school can motivate the pupils to attend school lessons or make them resign from school. So, the quality of food is very significant in our school feeding system. And I trust the minister’s words. The minister will surely make some reforms in this regard. These will improve food quality, food management and waste and food service in the school feeding system.

  Teachers promotional exams is becoming an avenue for serious money making for some unscrupulous characters within the teaching profession and l urge the Ghana Revenue Authority, the GES, BNI and other relevant authorities to look into this. WhatsApp platforms are created where part questions are uploaded and membership to this platforms are subscription fee. On some platforms you can locate 1000s of members. Some platforms have 50 cedis are enrollment fees, GES and GRA and BNI must take up this allegations seriously. Some opportunities Ghanaians see, they used it to their advantage at the expense of the neighbors.

  Withdrawing the feeding grant is not the right way to sanction erring headmasters, because it is the students who will suffer for it. Secondly, before you complain about the quality of food, make sure the grant per student, per day is sufficient to cook good meals.
