  Why should galamseyers return to to Subri forest when government raided the forest to get rid of these people ? The boldness with which these galamseyers return to continue their illegal activities tells the weakness and inefficiency of the government and its efforts to stop galamsey. Does it mean that the Subri forest was left behind without any patrol of the site ? This is ridiculous. Our leaders are not serious enough to stop this practice. Our military personnel and other security forces are roaming idle and the government cannot assign them to protect these forests. They will rather assign these soldiers to protect the illegal miners . What a shame . This will not happen under Captain Troare watch in Burkina Faso .

  Campaigns were made before and during the elections, money was spent for these purposes, campaigners and party officials have to be paid monthly. Whether opposition parties or the ruling party , they all have to deal with the aforementioned expense. Who is paying these campaigners and party officials now? From which sources? The only answer here is „GALAMSEY „. These two main parties are the GALAMSEYers for sure. No government wants to declare any state of emergency, why? If a state of emergency is declared to stop GALAMSEY, and I, a citizen of Ghana saw a person mining in one of the declared area, I will surely report it to the authority without delay. A state of emergency will empower the citizens to help in fighting this deadly issue. Let’s be fair!
