At the end of the day, bills are paid, shelter is there to lay heads, clothes available to wear, clean water to drink, quality food on the table and make some savings. What exactly does the chief executive do and what risks are involved in the job he does that require such generous pay and benefits.
Then the same committee sits on its hands when teachers/lecturers ask for better pay and allowances. These differences are the reasons for incompetence and corruption in the country.
For the CEO of Goldbod, what qualifications and experience did he bring to the newly formed board?
Is he more qualified than the Principal or Headmaster of SHS or college of education or a lecturers at any of the universities in Ghana?
Does he bear any risks or have any more responsibilities than them?
What special skills does he bring to the sector other than talking?
