Well, don’t be naïve. Sammy Gyamfi’s actions were visible to the entire nation in plain sight, and that cannot be denied. This is not a matter of retaliation or "tit for tat". Each case must be treated on its own merits. We do not judge current issues based on past mistakes made by others. We are living in the present, not the past.

Are we, as a nation, sufficiently educated? How can we allow the law to take its proper course if we continue to excuse misconduct by pointing to others’ errors? If we justify bad behaviour on the grounds of previous wrongdoings, we will end up with widespread disorder on our streets.

The individual in question must either be dismissed or voluntarily resign. Whatever Madam Dapaah may have done, it was not so clearly evident to the public. In the end, she chose to resign, and that was the right decision.

Sammy Gyamfi should do the same—resign before he is dismissed. We must not allow foolish individuals to dictate to us, or to the law, what actions to take.

Enough of the Sammy Gyamfi dollar saga . Let’s move on . Sammy Gyamfi should not be crucified because of his kindness. It was Agradaa who approached Gyamfi for financial help to fuel her vehicle and he gave her the money in his vehicle but this was video taped at the blind side of Gyamfi. Agradaa again snatched the remaining dollars out of Gyamfi’s hand which took him by surprise but he left without making a scene out of it.
