Asantes started calling for a federal system of governance when they realized that, their resources rod cocoa was been used to developed other part of Ghana rather than their own!

Kwaku Duah, stayed with him from 1964 for five years. The Omanhene was not a politician. Now, the MP for Sefwi Wiawso consistuency from 1956-1965 was called William Kwabena Aduhene.
