  Flooding was happening before Ceclia Dapaah became a sanitation minister so try to make a sound argument, and stop that dirty political posture which does not help.

  NDC is deep in politicizing the decongestion exercise of Accra. Yes, I know exactly what I am talking about. During the election between Mills and Nana Addo, NPP suggested that they will decongest the Central District, NDC used that as a campaign message urging traders, hawkers to resist any attempt. Mills told them that they should vote against NPP because they will render them jobless with their decongestion exercise so, who is doing what to the capital that chocked beyond reason?
  
  The beauty of the capital benefit us all and any attempt to decongest it should be devoid of politics.
  
  Now, what about flooding in Accra. I remember a former leading telling Ghanaians that Accra is below sea level and huge drainage system needs to be installed to help flooding. That suggestion gored "Nkranfuo" thinking that, that leader was trying to redirect the sea to Kumasi and instantly, rejection set in.
  
  When the 1972 coup took place, that leader was sent to the cleaners and the insults that followed was beyond description.
  
  In all, who is dealing with constant flooding that comes with destructions and costs? As a nation, we have to think deep to solve problem else.

  I disagree with you. I don't know your age, but I quite remember when a former Ghanaian leader suggested that Accra was below sea level and as such, huge drainage system maybe need to curb flooding. That suggestion was met with ignorance insults against that leader. Some Accra residents made statements like the man wants to redirect the sea to Kumasi and all sorts of nonsensical statement.
  
  Now, who is struggling with unrelenting flooding destroying lives and properties, and the funny thing is that leader is not an Ashanti either.
  
  Whatever is going on in Ghana is how our mindset is because as humans, why should we dump garbage into gutters etc or build houses in waterways, and why do you think a third political party can solve that problem? Remember that, that third force will be made up of Ghanaians and not humanoids from Mars or Jupiter.
