Do you know if the mum is a Bono person? I have a Granddaughter whose mother is a Bono and father an Ewe. She bears an Ewe name but by Akan tradition, she is a Bono girl!

  • DEEVINITY 7 months ago

@Atoapoma. Not that I care for all this needless emphasis on tribal affiliation but you're WRONG. She (sic) could only be Bono if both parents are same. An Eʋɛ Father automatically makes offspring same and neutralizes any ...

@ Deevinity: That's your custom but for we Akans, we belong to the tribe of our mothers! I was referring to my granddaughter whose father is an Ewe that is why l wrote 'she' so don't make any correction!

You @Agnenyo are the Chief mischief maker. You can marry an Akan and relinquish your paternal duties to your brother-in-law and let him own and dictate how your children should be raised. That's your business.
