Ghanaians are interesting creatures. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa promised during the campaign season that he would resign from any government that he's part of, which abuses the public purse, or instead of flying first class, if a member of that administration charters a private plane to the country from overseas.

Kofi Tonto went on the Asempa radio discussion segment a couple of days ago to enforce that declaration or promise by the country's foreign minister on video. However, Kofi Tonto took the NDC's bait (When a scandal erupts, you need a larger news item to flush it out) hook, line, and sinker. So the NDC created a storm in a teacup by closing down the Washington Embassy in order to flush down the promise scandal
or -gate. Instead of Ablakwa's resignation, that Kofi Tonto went to Asempa to enforce; he allowed the NDC panelist, Kwadwo Dankwa, to twist his arms and made him the problem or the prosecuted. Hence, Kofi Tonto letting down his fans and some of us who used to admired him.

NDC's 120 Days in office:

Kwabena Mintah Akando went to Tamale and created an unnecessary fiasco by firing the few doctors there. From the North, he came down to flaunt his power around by firing the CEO of KATH, and culminated his incompetence by hiring a party foot-soldier, Ms. Anne Sansa Daly, as the head of the National Health Insurance Authority.

We can talk about John Jinapor's sensationalism seeking announcement of missing 3,000 containers that have been subsequently, found.

I was suspicious about this GTC company website, when we were asked to pay visa fees and courier fees thru this website. Even though I paid US$ 25 for courier service, my passport was never delivered. I had to go and collect it at the embassy. This robbery was going on under the noses of the various ambassadors, Bawua, Cheremanteng etc. Why didn't they do anything about this situation? It is very disappointing to see the reputation of our beloved country, Ghana tarnished by the very people who are supposed to protect it. Measures must be applied in all the ghana embassies to stop this thievery. Installation of security cameras, supervision of employees by senior staff etc.
