Even a child will not make such a stupid ignorant mistakeuch less a purportedly qualified professional in charge of accounts of a whole agency. She needs to be medically declared to be imbecile or mentally retarded to avail herself of such ridiculous defence.

Most likely is that she is part of the fraud and stole the money from the public purse. The prosecution should look into her and her families bank account in Ghana and overseas and the properties they have acquired in the past 8 years.

All these thieves need to be in jail. Else the country can not develop or move forward if there is no accountability whatsoever and we allow the appointees to steal and waste public fund anyhow.

If the NSB (and others that collectively known as National Security) cannot setup a finance department that has core practices and procedures that conform to basic finance and accounting principles then how is the Accountant General of Ghana providing oversight authority in Ghana?

The finance director at NSB should be prosecuted along with other staff at NSB for not knowing how to perform their jobs but fraudulently collecting wages and salaries for work not well done. Should the finance director not have a book with list of names and acronyms of agencies, entities and others that NSB does business with prior to writing a check/cheque in the name of an unfamiliar company/entity?
